YAA Fest 08 Final Song

It was the end of a moving night. Commonunion took us through the final song - Tere Bina. The lights went out - the candles were lit - one flame being passed to another.

How totally appropriate. We had been talking all day about living a life of purity in a world gone mad. The truth about stopping AIDS sounds like foolishness to everyone around. But it is possible with God's help.

At the end of the day - we can't do things on our own. But there is tremendous hope in that fact that we are not alone. In the fact that our small light does shine - even in very dark places. In the fact that Jesus is willing to come along side us and take us forward.

YAA Fest 08 is over. The work of being a light continues.
