On your marks! - The next 8 days...


We thought that having organised a meeting for Philip Yancey and then having conducted the YAA Fest 08, things would slow down.

Not quite.

Here are the next 10 days.

1. Friday the 12th - Philip B arrives, Staff meeting, Practice for Sat Night Skit, Sharing at Bible Study in the night (9-10.30 PM)

2. Sat the 13th - Rest for part of the day. Evening gathering with Lok Hospital for their annual Christmas programme (where JSK will perform a skit)

3. Sun the 14th - pick up Uncle and Auntie Christian, their two foster kids and Sandhya's sister at 4 AM. Then participate in worship at 9.30 - Andi sharing from the word. Then followed at 12 PM by a betrothal of Anil Sainani and Sandhya Aind. Then in the afternoon Philip B shares at the Great Life Seminar Series in Mulund about the Incarnation.

4. Mon the 15th - be with Uncle and Auntie Christian - Anil and Sandhya and others from the church as they plan for the January marriage. Take Uncle and Auntie and their kids to the train in the evening.

5. Tues the 16th - Bid Philip farewell. Prepare for the JSK Thanksgiving the next day.

6. Wed the 17th - Thanksgiving time with JSK Positive Friends and their families. A time to reflect on the year and share God's blessings. We are expecting about 250 people to come!

7. Thurs the 18th - Wait on the Lord. Fast and pray. Meet with Anil and Sandhya and one other couple to for pre-marital counselling on cross-cultural issues in marriage.

8. Fri the 19th - Pick up a friends of ours from the airport. They plan to spend the day with us - learning about what is going on here and praying about whether God is calling them to serve with us in HIV ministry in the future. They leave in the evening to fly back to Hyderabad where they are visiting his parents. We will be packing that night ourselves for the next day's trip.

9. Sat. the 20th - Leave for Vishakapatnam by taking the Konarak Express from Kalyan - to spend 8 days with Amma and Appa - and to visit the relatives in the villages in the West Godavari district where Amma is from.
